The Mud & Meadow Hideaway
Address: VPO Chandpur, Tehsil Palampur, Distt Kangra 176061
Getting Here
A 9 hour drive from Delhi
It's an easy 450 km ride from Delhi. Just hop in the car, roll down the windows, and let the mountain breeze ruffle your ears. Once you arrive, we'll be waiting with wagging tails and wet-nose welcomes.
Tucked away in Chandpur village, just 5 km from Palampur (and quietly behind the Holta Army station). This is Himachal the way it should be. Wide fields, mountain hush, and a glacier-fed stream called the Awa Khud flowing alongside. The home itself is a love letter to the land. Built entirely with bamboo, mud, and slate stone. Designed to blend in, not shout out. If your idea of luxury is space, silence, and the kind of air that makes even city dogs sleep deeper, you’ve found it.
Simple, Cosy, Country-Perfect

You’ll stay across 3 rooms in the Mud House and 4 rooms in the Riverside Cottage (approx. 12 x 14, basic rooms with attached washrooms). Expect fuss-free comfort, easy mountain mornings, and that rare feeling of being properly away.
