Getting Here

A 9 hour drive from Delhi

It's an easy 450 km ride from Delhi. Just hop in the car, roll down the windows, and let the mountain breeze ruffle your ears. Once you arrive, we'll be waiting with wagging tails and wet-nose welcomes.

Introduction

Welcome to The Colonial Den, an 1857-built hillside gem perched on the Mall Road of Dalhousie. Once a summer escape for British officers, today it stands restored to its former glory. Fireplaces humming, staircases creaking with nostalgia, and rooms bathed in mountain quiet. Think carved wood, pastel walls, crisp linens, velvet chaises, and lawns that glow golden at sunset. A boutique retreat that feels like stepping into a well-written novel. One where your dog gets to be part of every chapter. If you crave old-world elegance, fresh pine air, and a home that whispers stories with every breeze, this is your kind of escape.
